It's the second edition of Langatun's 10 year old single malt Swiss whisky! After maturing in a Pinot Noir wine cask, this one has developed a richly fruity flavour profile, which should make for a great postprandial dram. Just 555 bottles were produced, so if single malt all the way from Switzerland aged for a decade sounds like your type of thing, make sure you snap one up!
Fig and sultana, subtly chocolatey at points, plus helpings of earthy barley for balance.
A crackle of oaky spice develops on the palate, mellowed by more dried fruit and chocolatey sweetness.
Cinnamon, sherry-soaked fruit cake, walnut, and waxy peels.
