The second core range single malt to be released from LAGG Distillery, Corriecravie is here! As with every Lagg whisky, the production process involved water from the distillery's own borehole as well as a specifically chosen barley variety (Concerto in this case), yeast, and fermentation time tailored to the particular whisky. Corriecravie was then matured initially in bourbon barrels before being finished for approximately 6 months in oloroso sherry hogsheads from renowned producer Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain. It was bottled at 55% ABV, without chill filtration, and with no added colour.
The Corriecravie Edition will be bottled in limited quantities once a year, so you can expect more in the future.

Rich and mouth-watering with subtle notes of charred embers and hazelnut.
Charred Oak, smoke, hazelnut, dark chocolate, sweet spice.
Rich, playful and exciting. Pleasant sweet smell (pipe tabacco) Give it some time and it may give you a warm and fullbodied taste explosion.
Harsh and burning,until you add a dash of water.....then far better.
