A Distillers Edition bottling of Lagavulin single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2014 following a finishing period in Pedro Ximénez casks. These Distillers Editions have proved very popular indeed, and with good reason - the Pedro Ximénez finish stands up nicely against the intense coastal qualities of Lagavulin's single malt. Definitely more than worth a go if you're big on your Islay whiskies.

Outstanding sweet smokey overtones with slight apricot one of the best whiskies I’ve drunk over last 5 years

The smoke you expect from Lagavulin with enough sweetness to cut it. Smooth finish but just a touch of a whisky burn. Possibly perfection!
