Nose: Very pungent and full on the nose, big on peat smoke, with a pleasant oaky dryness you get with Lagavulin. Hints of tar, creosote, rubber, then toffee sweetness and hints of fruit.
Palate: Lots of wood influence, aniseed, then dry ropes, lots of fruit, citrus, marmalade, hints of the coast, smoked meats. Very rich.
Finish: A very long and full-bodied finish with plenty of wood oil, then mixed fruits, peat, smoke.
