Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Very sooty, warm lemon rather than zestiness. Warming, rounded wood spice. Water livens up proceedings.
Palate
Plenty of peat smoke, oatcakes and salted caramel richness.
Finish
Dry and sooty.
Overall
Clean as well as dusty (pretty sure that does make sense in this case) - the most affordable Special Release of 2015 and always worth getting hold of.
