This is the 2009 edition of cask-strength Lagavulin 12-year-old from Diageo's annual Special Releases. A great find for a Laga collection!

Lovely superb but too expensive I just drinking and finish the bottle limited edition 2009..
What you missed was the greed of a company owner screwing their customers This same bottle was sold for less than £90 while they sold it here for £200 Now it is still for sale at whisky exchange for £125 Anything to add here Mr Malt why you are overcharging on so many bottles? This is what has encouraged the distilleries to double treble and indeed aven quadruple the prices they charge for some of their yearly bottlings!!! Shame on you Mr malt !!!
I am glad I bought them at a great price. Unfortunately , down to my last few bottles Nice finish with understated elegance. The fruits rose through the peat and intertwined harmoniously. A delightful drink. Good conversation piece. My personal opinion, showing much more character than the 16 Year.
£200! What did I miss? Why so expensive?
Truly one of a kind cask-strength malt. Peat and grassy lemon in a chunky barley packet. This one takes time to open up, a few drop of water helps. Quite different than 16 y, though.
