The gang at Kyrö Distillery Company in Finland has been busy experimenting with cask finishes. Made from 100% Finnish malted wholegrain rye, this expression demonstrates what a perfect match rye and oloroso sherry make! Matured in a combo of oloroso sherry, new American oak, and bourbon barrels, the sherry cask has imparted mellow layers of sweet dried fruits and candied nuts to the peppery rye at its core.

Need an alternative from a US Rye for my Sazerac. Was tempted by the Stauning which is excellent but then tried this and oh my word this is so smooth but still keeps the Rye Kick.
