A brill bourbon-barrel matured blend from Japan's Kurayoshi Tottori range, featuring a bounty of fruit and vanilla notes alongside a whisper of smoke. Ought to be good for sipping neat, or for enjoying in a Highball, we reckon.

I prefer not to give low ratings unless I really have to. Each whisky is unique and has its strong points that provide enjoyment. Unfortunately, The Tottori is not one of them. Strong ethanol scent on the nose and on the pallet. Some caramel and dried fruit there, but pretty rough overall. At that price point, I can name 100 better options.
