An 8 year old single malt from Knockdhu (you may be more familiar with their anCnoc range, which is the name their official releases bare), independently bottled by Càrn Mòr. This was drawn from a pair of hogshead casks which were laid down in 2009 and opened in 2017. A release of 770 bottles.
Robustly malty, with heavy cream and fresh grass notes in tow.
A hint of red chilli, swiftly followed by cooling waves of mint, white chocolate and lemon cheesecake.
Cinnamon and anise, with a little quince jam for good measure.
