Bourbon
A single malt Scotch whisky from Kockdhu Distillery here, one that was distilled back in 2006 and aged in a single bourbon hogshead for 16 years until it was bottled by Monologue for its excellent A Whisky Anthology series. There are only 334 bottles of this one from Chapter 7.

Oaky vanilla opens with rich malt, creamy butterscotch, freshly cut grass, and gingery spice in support.
Spiced nuts, green apples, rhubarb, and nutmeg develop among the aromas from the nose.
Orange peel and sweet, buttery oak.
