Reviews for Knockdhu 10 Year Old 2013 (cask 804975) - Infrequent Flyers (Alistair Walker)
Gorgeous stuff
Nose: Ginger, spices, dried figs, sherry but not overpowering, hints of chocolate and liquorice. Water really opens it up.

Taste: Sweet arrival, oily mouthfeel, cherries, blackberries, dried fruit, dark fruit jam, rich creamy coffee with subtle malty fruit loaf.

Finish: Short to medium, sweet with rich dark fruit.

This is a very good whisky. At first I thought it was a tad expensive but having experienced it, I think it’s fairly priced. Definitely recommended.

Not enough!
I am not sorry to say this but, my latest purchase of this from Master of Malt was 'not enough'! This is my second bottle and I find this whisky to be, in one word, stunning! This is has classic PX flavour but, on another level! It just oozes character, I shared my first bottle with close friends who were blown away with it. My Portugese friend has this on his to find, purchase and take home to Portugal list, to share with his friends. This friend is also a wine somelier and knows his stuff.
