Here we have a 24 year old anCnoc single malt from the Knockdhu distillery up in the Scottish Highlands, and anCnoc translates to ‘up the hill’ in Gaelic. Made using traditional production methods, this whisky is an expression not often seen on these shores, and is made without colouring or chill filtering.
Christmas cake with a splash of lemon juice and vanilla custard.
Rich and citrus forward, think oodles of lemon peel and marmalade with creamy vanilla toffee and honeyed barley.
Old leather and tannic oak rounding it out with a hint of orange peel.

Tasted this at a master class, bought it straight away, not cheap but worth the money, sometimes you have to splash out, if you have tasted AnCnoc you know they produce great whisky, this is better than the 18yo and that’s hard to beat
For a 24 yo highland whisky this is crazy value for money. For a whisky of this quality and standard it's mind boggling. I love AnCnoc, and this is the best I've had rom them so far. Went back and bought the second bottle on the shelf.
Absolutely astounding whisky. Great complexity with herbs, oranges, spices, leather, sherry fruit, awesome oily resins. Best value for money.
