An indie bottling of Knockando single malt - you don't see these very often! Interestingly, this expression was also given a finishing period in a Marsala wine cask! It was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2017 by Malts of Scotland, resulting in a outturn of 279 bottles.

Nose
Melted chocolate, some fruity esters, light coastal/salty smoke to it...
Palate
Anise and citrus, with underlying plum richness and a good whack of grassy malt.
Finish
Dates and nectarines, milk chocolate and a pinch of red chilli.
