A single cask bottling of 18 year old single malt from the Knockando Distillery, independently bottled by The Worshipful Company of Distillers as part of its Master's Cask series. Not very often you see indie bottlings of Knockando! This particular release was created in celebration of Knockando's 40th anniversary - here's to many more!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cooked fruit, dusty cedar, chocolate digestives and toasted almonds.
Palate
Rounded notes of barley and apricots, with old oak introducing just a touch of smoke.
Finish
Crusty bread with salted butter, plus a little marmalade too.
