Kirker & Greer Shamrock
A blended whiskey from Kirker & Greer over in Belfast! Individually, Kirker and Greer were established blenders and and bottlers, sourcing and blending Irish whiskeys such as Shamrock. The expression is triple distilled, marrying both grain and malt whiskeys, which are then rested in first-fill bourbon casks. A brilliant whiskey for using in cocktails, we'd recommend a splash of ginger ale and a ribbon of orange peel.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toffee apple, with buttery croissant, a sprinkle of brown sugar, marmalade, and white flowers.
Palate
Caramel milk chocolate, honeyed orchard fruit, white pepper, and oaky vanilla.
Finish
Cinnamon-spiced pear with a good helping of floral honey.
