A single malt Irish whiskey from Kirker & Greer over in Belfast. This particular expression has been double distilled and left to age in first fill bourbon casks for a whole 16 years. The vanilla-forward whiskey was then bottled up at 43% ABV
Banana and vanilla custard, with stewed apple and a drizzle of honey, vanilla fudge and spicy oak.
Chocolate marble cake, vanilla cream, ripe tropical fruit and caramelised orchard fruit.
Dry oak, floral malt and buttery shortbread linger.
Bought this for my wife's birthday as she loves Irish whiskey. One of the best malts WE have ever tasted. (not daft, am I)
