A cask strength bottling from Belfast's Kirker & Greer! The single grain whiskey is triple distilled before it's aged in first fill bourbon casks for a decade. At 10 years old, it's bottled at a cask strength of 56% ABV, so you can be sure this one packs a flavour punch.
Buttery popcorn, with banana foam sweeties, a good helping of cinnamon and nutmeg with a touch of dry oak.
Honeyed tropical fruit, banana pancakes and vanilla cream, with caramel and baking spice intertwined.
Oak spice and lots of toffee.
$32.53 - $105.03
I was overwhelmed by this fiery 56 degree abv whiskey when tasting it straight but a good dash of water produced a delicious smelling, delicious tasting whiskey. Quite sweet, toffee nose, soft mouthfeel, pleasant full-mouth after taste, so good but apparently innocuous that it would be easy to overindulge. A huge amount of flavour, would make a very good digestif.
to much alcohol on nose, taste like bourbon with drop of water, not great not terrible, bought on offer for £34, for this price can't complain
Nice sweet flavoursome cask strength, strength creeps up on you, toffee notes very nice
