Kirin
Blended Japanese whisky from Kirin's Fuji Gotemba distillery, which is situated in the foothills of Mt. Fuji. In fact, the label even calls this whisky "A gift from Mt. Fuji", making it a much better souvenir than a t-shirt or fridge magnet. Tasty stuff, this one.

Very smooth, doesn't taste strong at all.slight sweet taste, not complex. It's very cheap in Japan compare with here, so if paying this price there are better options, yet well worth trying as Jap whisky
Very smooth sipping whiskey. Hints of Carmel tasted.
The whisky is good and have a sweetness to it. It's not deserving 5 stars in my opinion because I believe that you can get better whisky at the same price. And as some other wrote in the comments, it only cost a fraction of the price in Japan.
Very nice blended whisky. Not particularly expensive in Asia, but very strong taste.
£52? 1500 yen or £11 in a Japanese supermarket.
