Kingsbarns 6 Year Old (Single Cask Release)
This single cask release from the Kingsbarns distillery spent its life in an ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled up at a generous 60.4% ABV. With so little adulteration, this whisky makes for a lovely window into the kind of spirit this distillery is producing.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Golden cereals, dry grass, apple pastries, and toasted almonds.
Palate
Oaky spice prickles through vanilla fudge, toffee sweets, and orchard fruit.
Finish
Sweet with a little peppery spice.
