The 2025 release of Kilkerran 16 Year Old is made up of two casks, 60% bourbon and 40% sherry, and is bottled at 46% ABV.
Notes of prunes, marzipan and orange-infused chocolate introduce this dram.
Vibrant and complex on the palate, there are notes of maraschino cherry syrup, liquorice, dates and star anise. Gentle peat smoke emerges, along with a hint of sweet cinnamon toast.
Sea salty in the finish, with notes of hazelnuts, mint and morello cherries.
