An excellent bottling from Islay's cracking Kilchoman Distillery – this single malt Scotch whisky has been fully matured in casks that previously held Madeira wine! 46 casks were selected for the 2021 release, and the whisky has been bottled up at a generous 50% ABV, letting the peat sing through the rich red fruit notes. Big flavours galore, one for those of you who love that balance of smoke and sweetness.
Cinnamon, fresh ginger, cooked apple, earthy smoke with a crackle of bonfire ember.
A burst of juicy orange notes, paired with savoury peat and a dusting of dark chocolate shavings.
