Sadly this bottle is the culmination of the Founders Cask series from Islay distillery Kilchoman, but what a way to sign off! The fifth and final edition was hand-selected by Peter Wills, founder Anthony Wills' youngest, and the family business model has produced an expression that was initially matured for over nine years in two distinct bourbon barrels and then finished in a 400-litre calvados cask for an additional two years. Just 517 bottles were filled at 54.8% ABV with no additional colouring or chill-filtration.
