Another marvellous addition to Kilchoman's Founders Cask Release series, which are chosen by members of the Wills family. This particular edition is a 10 year old single malt distilled back November 2011, and drawn from a single Oloroso sherry hogshead in December 2021. It was bottled up at 54.4% ABV, and offers up a wonderful balance of smoke and sherried sweetness.

Nose

Cinnamon, sea salt, fruit cake, and hints of spiced hot chocolate.

Palate

Dense sherry, dotted with peat smoke spiciness and a touch of marzipan.

Finish

Coastal salinity mixed with stewed berries.
