Beautiful tasting whisky, smooth and honey like.
When I first tasted Killbegin...it was the first time I experienced an explosion of different flavours. Each flavour separate yet combined to give a wholly individual tasting whiskey...A great find for a life long whiskey drinker to discover - Killbegin has a new follower.
Vanilla and smooth sweet caramel. Wonderful & inexpensive daily dram. Double distilled goodness.
Other reviewers are correct, the smell is harsh, but if taste is more important to you than smell, you can't go wrong here. The taste is very smooth and the aftertaste is pleasant. Probably the best liqueur (not just whiskey) you can buy for under $20.
A lovely Irish whiskey, quite soft and smooth both on the nose and on the palette. Extremely good quality for it's quite affordable price. Nose: Honey, malt, vanilla, citrus, fresh grass, barley dough Taste: Again honey, sweet malt, green apple, cereal/grain Aftertaste: Long, smooth and minty
