Noah's Mill

The much adored Noah's Mill bourbon here, made with a mash bill of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% barley. This expression is bottled at a very generous 57.2% ABV - a drop of water does help bring some of the rich fruity notes to the fore, while it's earthy, resinous depth ought to shine in an Old Fashioned.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Heavy treacle and vanilla, dusted with plenty of cinnamon. Notes of forest floor and earthy oak nestle beneath.

Palate Ginger, black pepper, honey-drizzled sponge cake and cooked pear, with resinous oak and subtle hints of dried herbs.

Finish Honey-roasted nuts, sharp green apple, another kick of pepper, and a touch of damp earth.

I've been really good, can I have

Reviews for Noah's Mill
Brilliant but beware
Noah's Mill is up there with some of the best bourbons I've tried. However, I agree with the the latest reviews. The latest batch (23-04) which circulating is undrinkable. It tastes foul and I suspect it's been contaminated with mould. I've made the MoM team aware and hopefully it will be back to it's usual standard very soon

Off batch
This is one of the best bourbons out there. However they have a mouldy batch currently, which explains the 'confused' review. Tastes like mud. I still have some of the old batch which is amazing. Noah's mill you need to pull this dodgy batch. It's giving you a bad name.

Confused
Distinctly opposite to the reviews received...I bought 3 bottles of this for myself and 2 friends...and it is not good...whilst the immediate taste maybe good then pallette and after taste is mouldy leaves. I won't buy again or recommend

Fresh
I found this very mediocre. It has a fresh aftertaste. I doubt I will buy again. Never say die is far superior

Top tier Bourbon Whiskey
I've had to come back and write a review again for this incredibly insane bourbon! The sheer power of the flavour delivered by this is beautiful. I'm not even going to give it tasting notes either, having only very recently tried it I'm in love with it and have bought 4 bottles. Pappy Van Winkle 15yo hasn't got even half the flavour delivery of Noah's Mill.... No joke.

It's like if you made a Birthday Cake with W.T Rare breed and then served that cake on top of Angelina Jolies naked body.

Still Incredible
I'm trying to date my bottle of Noah's Mill. Given a few life landmarks, it's definitely between January 2008 and March 2011. It was incredible then, and it's incredible now. It still has the big, looping punches of brown sugary caramel, so intense they're almost like...bubblegum. But not just "bubblegum": it's a taffy-like, toffee-like sweetness, redolent of amber, compressed into an intensity that billows and sparkles around with floral delicacy.

A special occasion whiskey par-excellence.

Totally gorgeous, Butter frosting, apples, toffee, hay, fresh cut grass, orange peel. Maybe the best bourbon I've ever tried if I'm honest.
