Top notch Taiwanese single malt whisky from the Kavalan Solist range, matured in a cask which was previously home to red and white wines, and then toasted. Lip-smacking stuff, much adored by world whisky enthusiasts.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vanilla and caramelised sugars with dark chocolate on top. Ripe melon and mango.
Palate
Kiwi and a delicate blend of citrus fruits burst. Pepper is also present in the background waiting to be noticed.
Finish
Clean and complex hints of chocolate and ripe fruit.
