Description
Taiwanese single malt whisky from the Kavalan range, drawn from a single Port cask and bottled as part of their Solist range at cask strength. An intensely flavoursome expression.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Peppery at first. Thick layers of Port sweetness develop, with a light hint of vanilla-rich malt at the centre.
Palate
Citrus zests, brown sugar, sloe berries, a touch of sugary shortbread with raisins in the dough.
Finish
Citrus forward. Caramel and fizzy strawberry laces.
