Kavalan Solist Pedro Ximénez Cask
From the King Car Distillery in Taiwan comes another addition to the Kavalan Solist range! This particular expression was drawn from a cask that previously held intensely sweet Pedro Ximénez Sherry.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chocolate covered pecans, sugared orange peels and a subtle hint of oak spice.
Palate
Juicy sultanas and plums, brown sugar, pineapple and another helping of chocolate-coated nuts.
Finish
Slightly herbaceous on the finish, though raisin sweetness persists.
