Description

Ace Taiwanese single malt whisky from King Car's Kavalan range, released as part of the Solist series. This was drawn from ex-Bourbon oak and has been bottled at 58.6% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Floral honey, with a hint of pineapple and vanilla fudge.

Palate

Deliciously vanilla forward, with lots of chewy fudge and crushed peanuts. A bit of orange zest develops.

Finish

Crushed pepper and sweet tropical fruit.

Amazing burst of flavour

Probably one of my favourite whiskies. Powerful punch although not too sharp, and full of sweet sherry like flavour. Pure class, worth every penny! Much better then most whiskies priced in this range

Brilliant

Melted vanilla icecream, coconut, pineapple and overripe bananas sprinkled with sugar. Some bourbon spice nothing resembling alcohol. Just wonderful.
