Description
A very rare 12 year old Karuizawa, bottled for the Japanese market. This has a lot of interesting flavour to it, with some smoke and stone fruit. Earthy too…
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apricots, sultanas, dates and notes of lemon sherbet. This is very malty and rich with notes of smoke, toffee and custard.
Palate
Hints of peat with notes of the forest floor, pine resin, oak, vanilla and soot.
Finish
Quite short, with coal tar soap and musty woodsheds.
