Seven-year-old Jura single malt, finished in a custom-made Moscatel octave cask before it was independently bottled to join the Darkness collection. Fragrant peat smoke rides throughout, backed by heaps of sweet clove and chewy spice.
Toasted cloves and tarry peat kick things off, with hearty layers of anise and spice leading to creamier notes of vanilla custard.
Dense oak and robust malt bring waves of woody spice, accompanied by rich bonfire smoke and a hint of floral tea.
The warming clove notes and fruit loaf linger while things remain smoky for the finish.
