Jura
Single Malt
Jura's 30 year old was nicknamed after the Carnas an Staca, the name of the Isle of Jura's eight standing stones. These are the remains of an ancient stone circle which was built by the Diurachs around three millennia ago! The whisky comes impeccably presented with a lovely copper-adorned bottle and presentation case.

Ery good drum very complex
I am not a Scotch expert. I am a normal gentleman that has tried several Single Malt Whiskeys in restaurants, and wants to learn more. To do that I recently purchased 10 samples. At least one was from each region of Scotland. I had no regard for price. The goal was to try some very fine Whiskeys. I wanted to learn. This review is based on that. I am rating each one with 5 stars simply because, since I am learning I don't want to disparage a good whiskey just because I don't understand it well. This is a very drinkable dram. Very smooth. Very complex. Bold without being overpowering. I'll probably be buying a bottle of this. It is very good, and a different taste than anything else I tried.
We supplied several bottles for our clients in Kenya, enjoyment at its finest. Well worth a taste if you enjoy a fuller flavour.
Excellent Scotch. My favorite Island Whiskey. Tasting note by Chaps at Masters of Malt are spot on.
Jura at it's best. For my 30th, my wife bought me but one dram and we did a taste test with Talisker. I'm very happy to report I did very well and guessed the Jura's. The 30 year old is absolutely sublime, refined and sweet. Exactly what I like in a single malt.
