29 year old single malt from Jura (which is on Jura, funnily enough), independently bottled by The Scalasaig. It was allowed to mature for nearly three decades in an ex-bourbon cask, before being bottled up at 48.1% ABV. A mighty fine boat on the label, too, if you're a big boat boffin.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose Earthy, biscuity and with a touch of vanilla cream.
Palate Sweet muscovado sugared apples, old oak and sea salt spray.
Finish Warming toasted oak and lingering sweet spice.
