Description

A heavily peated Jura selected as the Second Murderer in Act 2 of Livingstone’s Macbeth Collection. The 17-year-old single malt matured in oloroso sherry hogsheads, pairing Jura’s smoky, oily spirit with nutty, fruity sherry cask character. Bottled at 48.5% ABV, with 1,200 bottles released. This is a much smokier side of Jura than you'll see in its core range.

Nose

Damp bonfire smoke, dried herbs, blackcurrant and cherry. Honey, vanilla and a faint floral note soften the edges.

Palate

Oily and full, with peat smoke, caramel and toasted almonds. Blackberry, charred oak and herbs develop alongside salt, iodine and a touch of honey.

Finish

Long and smoky, with ash, dried apricot, toasted nuts, maritime salinity and drying oak.
