A limited edition whisky from Johnnie Walker, inspired by the absurdly popular television programme, Game of Thrones (in turn based off of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series). Created by whisky specialist George Harper and his team, this whisky features malts from Clynelish (aptly one of the most northern Scotch whisky distilleries) and Cardhu, among others. The bottle has a temperature-sensitive graphic that will spell out the words “Winter is here” when it's at the right temperature for serving.

Soft hints of orange Fruit Pastilles and dried apricot. Toffee, vanilla pod and ginger snaps.
More vanilla again, this time paired with cinnamon and almond. Hints of fresh cherry and cut oak heat.
Lingering peppery malt and festive spices.

Something different fun nothing to serious just a good wee pour
I found not unlike the Gold addition. A fairly ok whiskey, but having it in the freezer makes it just that bit more fun.
I put the green label down to try this, best decision ever!!! I was confused and sceptical at first because it smelt a little like Jim Beam but pleasantly surprised that it still had the smooth scotch taste! It goes down waaay too well, especially for 41%! This would be the only Winter I'd like to stay!!!
Very nice, smooth taste, delightful texture if you are a newcomer to a world of whiskey you will definitely like it!
