Blended
Scotland

Johnnie Walker Platinum used to sit between Gold and Blue in the extensive range of blends, carrying an impressive 18-year-old age statement.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet rich and deep notes with maraschino cherries, toffee caramel, vanilla, baked rhubarb crumble and a very thin whiff of smoke.
The richness continues onto the palate, which is sweet and warming, with creamy malt, oats and cereal. A spicy vanilla cinnamon dusting too with the gentle smoke again developing.
Dark chocolate with caramalised peel.
Another pleasing blend from Johnnie Walker, this is quite different from the gold label.

Love it
It's not better than Gold label , It's rather blank and stronger taste
For around AUD80, I think this is a good value scotch. A hint of smoke, very smooth - I didn't get the hit of alcohol that some have complained about. It's not exceptional, but you're not paying an exceptional price. A good addition to the collection.
Easy to drink...but watery! A very shallow example of a fine pedigree. I would bet my bottom dollar that the original "Platinum blend " w as no less than 75% proof (at the least) Next thing you know ,this will end up as 35%Alc/Vol,
