Reviews for Johnnie Walker Blue Label
Hmm...
The whiskey itself is extremely pleasant. It's not trying to blow your face off with a ton of a particular flavor. It's just trying to be nice. And it does that quite well. It's... reminded me of like a smoked cider, if that makes any sense. It's definitely a good experience, and I'd love to sip on it over the course of a day. It's like... It's like coming home to a familiar leather chair in front of a lit fireplace, settling in, and relaxing for a while. It's friendly, oddly familiar, and welcoming.
But then comes the price... It's hard to justify the expenditure. I mean, it's smoother than hakushu 18, and I think it's a bit friendlier... But like the hakushu 18, I don't entirely think that it's worth the cost. It's good! But... that good? If I caught it on sale, I'd consider buying a bottle. Beyond that it's a tough sell to me.

Well worth every penny
With out a doubt the best blended whisky. Top gear, very enjoyable experience

Nostalgic, legendary blend.
Only a snob would leave this whiskey a bad rating. Can you get more bang for your buck elsewhere? Absolutely. Can usually get 1.5 - 2 bottles of equally great tasting whiskey for the same price. If you are a Johnny Walker fan, there is no going back to the lower shelf varieties. Do yourself a favor and buy a bottle. Most bars (in major cities) charge $35 - 50 a glass, might as well buy the bottle. The experience of opening a bottle of blue adds nostalgic value that you just can't find with other bottles.

Very good whisky
Normally I’m a single malt drinker. Got bottle of JW Blue as a present (a good present) I must say, this is a very good whisky. Well balanced, crispy, slightly smoky. But over priced. I mean you can buy two bottles of decent single malts instead of one blue. Probably the best blended.
