Johnnie Walker Blue Label - Ghost & Rare Port Ellen (1L)
This big bottle of Johnnie Walker (one litre) is a limited release from the Ghost & Rare series, which brings to life Scotland's closed and sorely missed distilleries. In this case, this blended malt marries whisky from the famed Islay distillery of Port Ellen (for a long time a Ghost distillery, now reopened, of course) and seven other rare whiskies.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Salted butter, marmalade on toast, elegant peat smoke and oat cakes.
Palate
Perfumed malt and orange blossom, balanced by salty sea air and coal dust. Subtle clove brings heat.
Finish
Continued peat smoke sticks around for a good long while of the finish.
