The first release from the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost & Rare series is the Brora & Rare expression. Master blender Jim Beverage has raided the Johnnie Walker stocks of single malt from the legendary closed Brora distillery, and created a blend using said seldom-seen stocks.
Please note: This bottle comes without the presentation box. The whisky within the bottle will not be impacted by lack of presentation box, because, y'know, it's in a bottle.
Earthy oak and petrichor, tempered by layers of thyme honey and maple syrup.
Rich walnut and hazelnut notes begin to take shape on the palate, joined by whiffs of peat smoke and roasted orchard fruit.
Vanilla pod and brown sugar, with just a hint of salted caramel appearing right at the end.
