Released for the Travel Retail market, Johnnie Walker Black Triple Cask is a blended Scotch whisky finished in three types of cask - hence the name. The trio includes bourbon casks, Scotch whisky casks and Caribbean rum casks!
Brown sugar, buttered toast and a touch of apricot jam fruitiness.
Nutty malt and soft vanilla, just a whisper of mango and persimmon underneath.
Toasted bread again, now with honey and cinnamon in support.

picked this up at malta airport -- quite similar to the original, but instead of moving toward the smoke like the double black, this moves toward the sherry side but much more rum/bourbon influenced.................bloody nice!!!
Tastes like an average bourbon, not like a Scotch. Lacks the peaty undertones of regular black label. A bit sweet instead.
