Blended
Scotland

Johnnie Walker Red Label Whisky was created 1909 and is a classic blended whisky, a great mixer and back bar favourite.
A surprisingly rich, aromatic nose with heather honey, mixed peels, soft smoke and rum spice.
Cedar wood, oak and butterscotch, aniseed, Christmas cake and malt.
Long, spiced nose with smoke on the tail.

A bit more smoke than most Scotches at its price, and I like that. Johnnie Walker Red has long been among my favorites. Excellent over ice.
Tastes like burning tyres. Truly horrible. Someone below said you could clean paint brushes with it - I think it would melt your brushes it’s so foul. JW Black Label is fabulous stuff - why is this so poor?
Found an old, unopened bottle of my Dad's Johnnie Walker Red from 1960. Tasted like the charcoal from a backyard barbecue, after grilling hot dogs.
It's fashionable to dislike anything that is decidedly popular, and that certainly includes Johnnie Walker Red. I believe J.W. Red outclasses most other scotches, especially at its price. There's plenty of flavor, smoothness, and a bit of smokiness to add depth. I like J.W. Red despite critical rantings from whisky snobs out there.
