Having sampled most blended whisky I have now returned to J.W red label.
Its a little overpriced for a glass of smoke......and I love good scotches. This really isn't one of them.

I've avoided it for 50 years being a snob but I had a miniature in a set and loved it; there was also a miniature of the Black Label which I thought rather anaemic after the hearty smoky flavour of the Red. I must have low tastes but my next whiskey purchase will definitely be J. W. Red Label.
Simply the worst whisky I've ever had. Tastes like burnt plastic, awful, awful stuff. If u don't like this (which u wont) steer clear of Bowmore 12 year old too.
