Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A mix of heady toffee apple and very faint smoke. Thick, syrupy malt, digestive biscuits, oak.

Palate: Soft, buttery toffee and general fruitiness. Medium bodied, but very malty and well-constructed blend.

Finish: Golden syrup, creamy spices and malt on the finish.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label King George V Reviews

I had the opportunity to try this at an event the other day. I must say I enjoyed it. As someone else said this isn't Blue Label, it is smokier and boy is she smooth. I've had a bottle of this but never opened it. After trying it I'm very tempted to.

Good with coke

Not bad - works well enough as a cheap mixer

For the money I feel the gold 21 year is the best--King George is also good and better than the blue--- and no the george is not the blue in a fancy bottle--the George has a smoker taste then the blue and more regal--also feel the Chivas Regal Royal Salute 21 year-- is better than any Johnny-- my next purchased will be their 38 year

Have two bottles of JW king George v edition. Got them as Christmas and birthday gifts. Holding one as a gift for my grandson when I croak and slowly emptying the other. Absolutely love it.
