'Edited' is an Indian single malt whisky created by Master Distiller Michael John using Indian 6-row barley as well as peated Scottish barley. The final vatting contains 15% of the peated spirit with maturation taking place in bourbon casks.
Toasted cereal, big barley and honey notes, Hob Nobs! Slightly vegetal peatiness, lemon and seaweed. Some beach bonfire but the peat isn't overpowering. Malty.
Wood spices, a bowl of porridge with honey and then demerara whilst sat beside a fireplace.
A touch of mocha, oak and perhaps old fashioned liquorice.
Peated Indian single malt whisky from John Distilleries that shows very well at what we would usually consider a young age.
Lol no
Super Dram, lovely whisky with a lot of flavours..unique characteristics and very easy to drink...will buy again for sure
This whisky brings a lot of sweetness but still has that bit of smokiness which doesn't over power at all..nice melow whisky with slight smoke through. Highly recommended and must try.
One of the best young Peated whisky out there. Very subtle and thoroughly enjoyable. I am a fan of heavily Peated whisky but this is really surprising and must have for any cabinet.
Dont understand much about malts. I do collect single malts as well as single barrel drams for past few years. I am more inclined towards clean malts, which are easy to understand. Let me tell you this one rocks. enjoy this with your friends and you shall not regret this.
