'Edited' is an Indian single malt whisky created by Master Distiller Michael John using Indian 6-row barley as well as peated Scottish barley. The final vatting contains 15% of the peated spirit with maturation taking place in bourbon casks.
Toasted cereal, big barley and honey notes, Hob Nobs! Slightly vegetal peatiness, lemon and seaweed. Some beach bonfire but the peat isn't overpowering. Malty.
Wood spices, a bowl of porridge with honey and then demerara whilst sat beside a fireplace.
A touch of mocha, oak and perhaps old fashioned liquorice.
Peated Indian single malt whisky from John Distilleries that shows very well at what we would usually consider a young age.
Out of Paul John's 3 Core Expression, I love Edited the most. It's an extremely alive single malt. It has enough complexity to keep experienced whisky drinkers busy and friendly enough for the newly initiated. Edited was my first Single Malt Whisky, I absolutely love it.
This is a lovely single malt whisky. Thoroughly enjoyable on the nose, taste and finish! It's hiding enough layers within itself to keep things interesting as you sip away. Hint of smokiness is well balanced with the prevalent sweetness! Surely worth a try!

Wonderfully balanced whisky with lot of taste. Nice and easy to drink.
outstanding balance in peat & malt flavors. shame that most will look down upon it due to it being made in india and that it has no age statement. going to stock up on them- ssshhh!
