Nose: Big and buttery with vanilla, sesame and cinnamon as well as notes of corn and dried apricot. Time in the glass reveals further layers of fruit, golden peated barley with vegetal hints and piles of freshly baked pastries.
Palate: Dried banana, some pineapple chunks, definitely some starfruit and juicy peat smoke throughout. The apricot custard Danish pastry thing is never too far away.
Finish: Oaky char, burnt pain au chocolat, triscotti and baked pear.
Overall: Peaty, fruity, buttery and utterly delicious!
