Nose: Apples and cinnamon snaps, shortly followed by a trio of tasty baked goods - hot cross buns, malt loaf and banana bread. A slight hint of anise develops later on.
Palate: Fresh ginger, bonfire smoke and burnt caramel as it opens up. Raisins, ground clove and brown sugar begin to dominate the palate soon after.
Finish: Toffee apples and advent calendar chocolate, with a sprinkle of white pepper and a subtle touch of red chilli.
Overall: Paul John's Indian single malt impresses once again!
