Indie Indian whisky here, distilled by John Distilleries in Goa! This peated single malt was matured in a single bourbon barrel from 2009 to 2015 before being bottled by Malts of Scotland with an outturn of 156 bottles.
Buttered malt loaf, struck match, cracked black pepper and toffee.
Peaty smoke arrives first, before being followed by orange oil and yet more toffee.
Barrel char and a pinch of cinnamon.
