J.J. Corry The Lasóg (Pour & Sip)
Created and bottled for our Pour & Sip subscription club back in 2022, The Lasóg is a fantastic blend of 60% malt and 40% grain whiskeys from Irish whiskey bonder J.J. Corry. It’s named for the Irish word meaning the blaze of a flame at the beginning of a fire, representing a confidence in this blend to alight a love of Irish whiskey in all those who taste!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Lively and subtly sweet, with biscuity grain, boiled caramel sweets, and zingy green apple.
Palate
Tropical fruit notes appear alongside a good dollop of custard, and baked crumble topping.
Finish
A gentle finish of juicy barley sweetness, along with a touch of vanilla cream.
