    Jim Beam White Label

Jim Beam bourbon undergoes distillation at lower temperatures and is distilled to no more than 62.5%, the White label is aged for four years and has quite a high percentage of rye in the mashbill.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Quite sweet with gentle notes of vanilla and cut hay, a touch of fresh corn fields and a little cereal sweetness, like the bluegrass fields of Kentucky.

    Palate

Good body with notes of toasty oak and all the requisite notes of vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper with an acetone note.

    Finish

Toasty oak and resin with a some sweetness.

    Great bourbon for the price.

A great sipper for the price, this and JD old. 7 are my go to's. Very smooth on the rocks, simply great.

    Nice budget drink

I never drink it neat, but with a mixer, it’s a very nice ‘session’ drink.

One of the WORST whiskeys I've ever had.

I love whiskey. Being on the lower end of the wage scaje I seldom have the opportunity to try many of the higher priced brands that I would like to try. So I tend to drink many of the lower cost brands. On that end I find that my fave is Wild Turkey. ButI also enjoy the underappreciated Canadian Hunter and most of Seagram's whisky offerings. But the acidic bitterness of Jim Beam is terrible to my pallet.

Not bad...try Xtra Aged or Devil's Cut.

Trying white label for the first time. I've been drinking Beam Xtra Aged and Devil's Cut...both smooth, oaky, just right. I'm trying to be fair to this White Label...its ok...maybe it needs to breathe some more. It's kinda mediciny, weak. A starter bourbon I guess...if you don't like this try Xtra Aged or Devil's Cut...both mellow, sweet, oaky.

You're not going to get a better bourbon for the price.

Easy, good body and nice finish.
